New Features in RulesMaster Racing 2012

RulesMaster Racing is an outstanding leaning guide to the Racing Rules of Sailing for 2009-2012.  In addition to covering the new rules, it also provides many enhancements and features over its version 1 predecessor.  The new program architecture is in fact a major update to the previous version.   • The program has been updated on every screen with more space and more features throughout.  You will find it easier to use and easier to install. 
  • There are more quizzes and more quiz questions.  You can take quizzes at the end of a chapter, or use the new Quiz setup wizard to configure your own quiz session. 
  • The index and table of contents has been re-written so that you can more easily jump to that bit of information that you were looking for.
  • The look and feel is much more modern. The native window size of the version 1 is 800by 600 pixels. The minimum window area for RulesMaster Racing 2012 has been doubled to 1024 by 768 pixels. As a result resolution is much improved, and screen layouts are easier to read and understand. Navigation and controls are simplified and more powerful. 
  • The minimum specification is now Windows 2000/XP/Vista, with a processor speed of 1.4GHz. RulesMaster Racing is compatible with Windows Vista.
  • RulesMaster Racing 2012 can be delivered as a CD or as a download from www.rulesmaster.com. 
  • The CD version of RulesMaster Racing required that the CD be in the drive in order to run the program.  We have kept this feature in RulesMaster Racing 2012 but added the option, for Personal Licensees only, to register with www.rulesmaster.com and receive a Licence Key which allows the program to run without the CD in the drive.
